Milestone for Fairline Boats as 12,000th hull enters production

December 2009 marked a significant milestone for luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Fairline Boats, when its 12,000th hull went in to production on December 23rd. The 55ft 4in (16.97m) length hull is being built at the yacht builder's Nene Valley factory in the United Kingdom for one of Fairline's latest generation Squadron flybridge motor yachts, a Squadron 55 model.

The newest Squadron 55 will be leaving the factory for customer delivery in Italy during spring 2010. She will encompass all the key features that set the Squadron 55 apart from its competitors, with her expansive full width master cabin amidships and a spacious class-leading flybridge.

Squadron 55 Key Facts:
* The Squadron 55 is one of Fairline's most successful boat launches to date, with thirty-five boats sold from early drawings prior to her launch in autumn 2008.
* In January 2009, the Squadron 55 was awarded the prestigious accolade of the 'Motor Boat of the Year' Award 2009 in the Flybridge Above 50ft category.
